The correct Red Cross numbers are:

They raised $2.3 billion for "Katrina," instead they have used these monies for #1: Themselves, and #2: divided it up for people affected by Hurricanes Wilma, Katrina and Rita.
<
Only $39 million has gone into the MEANS TO RECOVERY PROGRAM.

The rest of the approximately $200 million the Red Cross claims to have "left over" for long term recovery is never going to directly help Katrina survivors.

Additionally, The State of Kuwait gave $25 million (not $50 million) to the U.S. to help Katrina survivors. That money was redirected and given to the Red Cross. The Red Cross did not use this money to assist survivors; and did use it to build four buildings, as I explained, however, NOT in New York.

I have spoken with their offices and have requested they insist the Red Cross put back this money into helping Katrina survivors, however, it's all politics. The Red Cross is in bed with the White House and so is Kuwait, for that matter.

We'll get the Red Cross yet!!

Kirby Sommers
http://group.yahoo.com/group/KatrinaWishList

PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE

Aid Humanity
PO Box 237073
New York, NY 10023Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10798983778070727973noreply@blogger.com
