Lattakia, (SANA) – Thousands of Lattakia residents and displaced families coming to the Province gathered Sunday in a mass march, supporting the Syrian Arab Army and stressing adherence to the firm national principles.

The participants carried the national flag and banners stressing their appreciation of the Syrian people and the Syrian Arab Army's sacrifices in confronting the conspiracy and expressing their adherence to the nationalistic and pan-Arab principles.

Waving a 200-meter Syrian flag and a huge poster for President Bashar al-Assad, the participants in the rally voiced allegiance to President al-Assad's leadership who constitutes, together with the Syrian army, the safety valve for Syria amid the uphill challenges facing it, expressing confidence that President al-Assad will steer Syria to the shores of safety.

They affirmed that the Syrian official delegation to Geneva is the true representative of the interests of the Syrian people, calling for mobilizing capabilities to roll back the conspiratorial project which is on its last legs thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and sacrifices of the Syrian army.

The participants held Erdogan's government and the Gulf regimes responsible for the bloodshed in Syria, voicing confidence in a bright future awaiting the Syrian people.

They also emphasized the country's national unity and territorial integrity in the face of foreign interferences.

Lattakia governor, Ahmad Sheikh Abdul-Kader said Syria will come out victorious from the crisis, affirming that the Syrian people will cling even more tenaciously to its national unity.

In Idleb, citizens took to the streets in a massive rally to express support to the Syrian army in the war against terrorism until security and stability are restored to the homeland.

They lashed out at the disinformation media campaign against Syria and Western support to terrorists, affirming that the Syrian official delegation to Geneva truly represents the Syrian people's aspirations.

Safwan Abu Saadi, Idleb governor underlined the governorate's readiness to provide all kinds of support to volunteer activities so as to confront the challenges facing the homeland.

Armed terrorist groups eliminated in several areas

Provinces, (SANA) – Army units on Sunday carried out military operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings, eliminating terrorist groups in several areas around the country.

Terrorists' attempt to blow up car bomb near Aleppo prison aborted

An army unit eliminated an armed terrorist group after aborting their attempt to blow up a car bomb near Aleppo Central Prison.

A military source told SANA that army units tightened control over Karm al-Tarab neighborhood and part of al-Maasaranieh neighborhood in Aleppo city after eliminating the last terrorists' gatherings there.

Terrorists attempting to attack military checkpoint confronted in Idleb

A military source said that an army unit confronted an armed terrorist group of the so-called ‘Free Taliban Battalions’ that attempted to attack a military checkpoint in Bassida area in Idleb countryside.

The source added that all members of the terrorist group were either killed or injured, as their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

The body of the terrorist called Ghassan was identified among the killed terrorists, according to the source.

In Idleb countryside, the army targeted terrorists in the areas of Binnesh, Maarat Masareen, al-Arba’en Mount and Kifr Najd and eliminated many terrorists.

Army units kill 'Islamic Front' and 'Jabhat al-Nusra' terrorists in Damascus countryside

Army units killed and injured terrorists afflicted to the so-called 'Islamic Front' and 'Jabhat al-Nusra' during quality operations against their hideouts in Daraya, Khan al-Shih, al-Zabadani, Yabroud, Zamalka, Erbin, Douma farms, Jobar and Adra city.

Sources told SANA that 17 terrorists have been killed and a field hospital discovered in the vicinity of al-Mustapha Mosque in Daraya city. Ayman al-Zaher was identified among the dead terrorists.

An army unit destroyed a terrorists' den near Adamco pharmaceutical factory in Khan al-Shih.

The sources added that army units killed and injured terrorists, some of them affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Rima farms in Yabroud and in al-Zabadani city, while a number of terrorists were killed and others injured in the towns of Zamalka, Erbin and al-Rihan farms in Douma area.

Army units also clashed with armed terrorist groups east of Jobar neighborhood, killing and injuring most of their members.

A military source said that an army unit pursued an armed terrorist group affiliated to the so-called 'The Islamic Front' in Adra city, killing a number of its members and destroying a car loaded with weapons and ammunition.

The army clashed with armed terrorist groups in the areas of al-Sad, al-Kark, al-Manshyeh and Daraa al-Balad, killing scores of them and destroying their weaponry and equipment.

A military source told SANA that the army also destroyed a vehicle equipped with mortar in the town of Eab in Daraa countryside and killed a number of terrorists who tried to attack a military checkpoint in the area.

In Homs countryside, the army clashed with terrorists who tried to attack the locals of Um Harten town and killed and injured a number of terrorists.

In al-Hasaka, the army units destroyed terrorists’ hideouts in Abdul-Aziz Mount and killed all of the terrorists in it.

The army clashed with terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Rashdyeh, al-Jbeilah and al-Hweiqa in Deir Ezzor city and killed and injured scores of them, among the killed terrorists were Ouday Hawash, Ghadeer Abdul-Fattah, Monzer al-Khleif, Osama al-Rakkad and NNajm al-Hammadi.

Meanwhile, dozens of terrorists were killed after clash erupted among terrorist groups in the areas of al-Bo Kamal, al-Bo Hassan and al-Ma’amel in Deir Ezzor countryside, among the killed terrorists were Abu Said al-Jizrawi of the Saudi nationality, Abu Dojana of the Libyan nationality, Abu Layth of the Moroccan nationality in addition to terrorists Nayef Mohsien al-Allaow and Hamdan Terak al-Numan.

Provinces, (SANA) –Armed terrorist groups massacred 10 women in Hama northern countryside.

A source in Hama told SANA that terrorist groups attacked the families in Maan town in Hama northern countryside, perpetrating acts of killing, terrifying and burning the houses of scores of civilians.

It added that the armed terrorist groups massacred 10 women and mutilated their bodies.

SANA cameraman and journalists injured in terrorist ambush in Aleppo

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) cameraman and a number of journalists have been injured in a terrorist ambush in al-Maasaranieh neighborhood in Aleppo city.

SANA reporter in Aleppo said that terrorists set an ambush for the media team covering events in al-Maasaranieh neighborhood, wounding SANA cameraman, George Orfalian, al-Ekhbariyah reporter, Benyamin Darwish, cameraman George Delabo, Syrian TV reporter Shadi Helweh and cameraman Ahmad Suleiman.

The source added that the journalists sustained varying injuries, indicating that they are in stable condition.

One citizen martyred in motorcycle explosion in Hama

One citizen was martyred and 6 others injured when terrorists blew up a motorcycle bomb in al-Asi Square in Hama Province.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that terrorists blew up a motorcycle bomb in al-Asi Square in Hama Province, killing one citizen and wounding six others, most of them in critical conditions.

The explosion caused large-scale material damage in the area, the source added.

Two injured by terrorists' mortar shell on Damascus Governorate

Two citizens got injured by a mortar shell the terrorists fired Sunday on the building of Damascus Governorate.

A source at Damascus Police Command said that the mortar shell fired by the terrorists slammed into the building of the Single Window Building, causing the injury of two citizens, in addition to leaving material damage in the building.

Child wounded by mortar attack in Idleb

A child was wounded by a terrorist mortar attack in Idleb city.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that a mortar round fired by terrorists fell on a house in al-Qusour neighborhood, wounding a child and causing material damage to the house.

Another mortar shell that fell east of the Teachers' Compound caused material damage but no casualties.

Power returns gradually to Aleppo and Idleb after outage due to terrorist attack

Damascus, (SANA)- Electricity started to return gradually to Aleppo and Idleb after it was cut off for many hours due to a terrorist attack on two high voltage power lines in the Central Region.

Minister of Electricity, Imad Khamis told SANA on Saturday that the electricity started to return gradually to Aleppo and Idleb after ensuring an alternate high voltage power line.

Khamis pointed out that work is underway for repairing the two damaged lines and put them in service and restore electricity as soon as possible.

Earlier, a terrorist attack on two high voltage power lines in the Central Region caused power outage in the provinces of Aleppo and Idleb.
