Pan-African News Wire Editor, Abayomi Azikiwe, to be Featured in Special Africa Liberation Day Broadcast on CKLN, FM 88.1 in Toronto, Noon-1:00 p.m.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the formation of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on May 25, 1963. To commmemorate and reflect on this important historical development, Norman Otis Richmond, the host of "Saturday Morning Live", will feature the editor of the Pan-African News Wire, Abayomi Azikiwe, beginning at Noon today, May 24, 2008.
Azikiwe, a long time activist, journalist and scholar focusing on African affairs, will discuss the significance of ALD in light of the current situation in the African world and the international community.
The PANW editor, who is featured every week on CKLN, 88.1 FM out of Toronto, can be heard on a regular basis every Thursday between 9:30 and 10:00 p.m. on the "Diasporic Music" program hosted by veteran broadcaster and musicologist Norman Otis Richmond.
