Roger Jardine Appointed as CEO for the Aveng Construction Company in South Africa

Roger Jardine was just appointed to head the Aveng corporation in the Republic of South Africa. He was the former CEO of the Kagiso Media Trust.

JARDINE APPOINTED AVENG CEO

JSE-listed construction company, Aveng, on Tuesday announced the
appointment of Roger Jardine as Chief Executive Officer with effect
from 7 July 2008.

Jardine held the position of the Chief Operating Officer of Kagiso
Trust since November 2006, before which he was Chief Executive Officer of Kagiso Media for seven years.

Prior to that Jardine was Director General of the Department of
Science and Technology for five years. He also served as chairman of the CSIR and the Nuclear Energy Corporation of South Africa (NECSA) for six years.

Aveng's Board of Directors "is confident that Jardine's experience
and leadership will complement the group's strong operational
management, both at its operations and the corporate office."
