MARCH ON DTE FOR ENERGY JUSTICE
1. There are too many people struggling to pay their DTE bills. There are too many people in shut-off. There is not enough assistance to support people in need. The winter is at our doorstep. This is a human rights issue.
Stop the Shutoffs!! We want an affordable and fair rate structure for low-income, seniors and disabled people.
2. Dirty energy costs us too much! Almost 80% of DTE electricity comes from coal. Destruction of our earth and our health results from burning coal. We can improve our energy system with more renewable energy. We could have jobs and SAVE money with wind turbines and home upgrades!!
We want a clean energy now!! 10% is not enough.
THIS IS CLIMATE JUSTICE. JOIN OUR MARCH ON DTE!
