Somalia: A Special Meeting Addressing Peace in Somalia Held in Mogadishu

Mogadishu — A meeting attended by foreign leaders of countries whose army is in Somalia known as AMISOM was today held in Aden Adde airport in Mogadishu. The meeting was also attended by leaders of Somalia, top officials from Turkey and United Kingdom.
A closed indoor meeting which took hour was held inside the airport and after that, the UK's special advisor on security and his counterpart from Somalia addressed the media.
Abdi Rahman Sheikh Issa who is Somalia's advisor on security said that they asked the UK government to give them a helping hand to achieve a peaceful Somalia.
On the other side, Mr. Allever Robbins who is UK's advisor on security said that this was a platform for the May talks that will be held in London.
He also said his country will assist Somalia in achieving a peaceful environment in the country.
This meeting was part of other organized meetings that was addressing security in the country.
