Dozens more were killed in the North African state of Egypt as the military and the police gunned down protesters in the streets.
Several nations have expressed outrage over the carnage while the position of the White House remains clearly self-serving.
The ZANU-PF party in the Southern African nation of Zimbabwe has pledged to honor its campaign promises. ZANU-PF won a landslide victory over all of the opposition parties during the July 31 harmonized elections.
In the Horn of Africa country of Somalia despite claims by the federal government and its western backers the country is still suffering from internal turmoil and national underdevelopment. Fighting is still taking place inside the nation amid escalating efforts to exploit the oil resources inside the state.
Finally, the presidents of the Republic of Sudan and Republic of South
Sudan are meeting in the capital city of Khartoum. A deadline to suspend oil cooperation has been extended to continue efforts aimed at negotiations between the recently partitioned Central African states.
Also in this edition there is a special tribute to the Hon. Marcus Garvey on the 126th anniversary of his birth.
