The Obama administration has stepped-up its war propaganda against the Middle Eastern State of Syria. After the British House of Commons voted down the war resolution of Prime Minister David Cameron, the United States and France are saying they may go it alone in a massive bombing operation against Syria.
Zimbabwe Vice-President Joice Mujuru has encouraged youth inside the country to shift their mindset to place emphasis on agricultural development. These statements were made in the aftermath of a successful conclusion to the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) held at Victoria Falls and co-hosted with Zambia.
Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir held a meeting this week with opposition figure and former Prime Minister Al-Sadiq al-Mahdi of the Umma Party. Also U.S. actor George Clooney has revealed that he is helping to fund a massive surveillance project against Sudan.
Finally, the Tripartitie Alliance of South Africa is holding an economic summit this weekend in South Africa. The summit seeks to bring the African National Congress (ANC), the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) and the South African Communist Party (SACP) together to discuss the overall crisis inside Africa's largest economy.
