Ferguson StreetFest Postponed Due to Safety Concerns

FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOX) - The annual StreetFest in Ferguson has been postponed due to safety concerns.
The Ferguson business district made the announcement this afternoon.
In an e-mailed statement, the organizers said postponing this weekend’s event didn’t come easily, but the safety of residents, vendors and all participants is the main concern.
They said they will send out an update as soon as the event is rescheduled.
Last night saw more unrest in Ferguson following the burning of a memorial to Michael Brown on Tuesday morning.
