Infighting Rages Among Rebels in Yarmouk Camp, Anti-Syrian Fighters Block Aid Distribution
03/04/2015

Damascus, SANA – Clashes among terrorists from ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra with other terrorist organizations in Yarmouk Camp are still ongoing, according to SANA reporter near the camp.

The reporter said that the camp had long been under the control of terrorist organizations and there are no units of the Syrian army and armed forces inside it, adding that the army units have encircled the camp after terrorists seized it long ago.

The terrorist organizations also prevented the people of Yarmouk Camp from reaching the point where aid was being distributed on Friday, marking the third consecutive day of terrorists blocking aid distribution in the camp.

The General Authority for Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) said in a statement that the violent clashes among terrorists in the Camp prevented locals form accessing the area where aid provided by the United Nations relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in cooperation with the Syrian government was being distributed.

A total of 60,310 food packages were distributed in Yarmouk Camp since January 30th 2014, along with 11,618 health packages, and 4,716 people with medical conditions were evacuated and admitted to hospitals in Damascus since that date.
