According to Ibrahim Rahim, his brother was at a bus stop in Boston waiting to go to work. Then, Usaama was confronted by the three officers. Ibrahim says his brother was “subsequently shot in the back.” The Boston Globe reports that Usaama was shot twice, once in the chest and once in the stomach.
The brother added that Usaama was on the phone to his father at the time because he felt like he needed a witness. On Twitter, Ibrahim Rahim said that his brother’s last words were “I can’t breathe.”
