Enough of the thievery Mahama! CPP woman Lucy Anning fumes

The first female Member of Parliament of Ghana in the erstwhile Nkrumah regime, Lucy Anning is calling on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to give way for the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) to rule Ghana.

According to her, the only legacy the Mahama-led government has left for Ghanaians is unbridled poverty and debts.

Ms. Lucy Anning made the comment in an exclusive interview with Adom News’ Isaac Normenyo as part of their coverage of the marks Founder’s Day celebrations to mark the birthday of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

The CPP stalwart who played a vital role in the Nkrumah regime maintained that until the CPP wins power, Ghana will never progress.

She indicated in Ghana today, the rich are becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer due to the mismanagement of the economy by the NDC.

“People have become multi-millionaire over night due to the thievery in government so I say enough of the thievery Mahama; go and let CPP take Ghanaians to the promise land” she stressed.

Ms. Lucy Anning said the only dream of the CPP is to put Ghana on a higher pedestal and not steal from the state like other governments have done over the years.

She said she is always sad because her grandchildren abroad have refused to visit her since the Ghana they knew has gone from bad to worse.

Ms. Lucy Anning called on well-meaning Ghanaians to join her in the campaign to oust the NDC and also vote massively for the CPP to win the 2016 elections.

“I always pray for God to forgive us our sins and allow the CPP to bring the dream of Dr. Nkrumah into fruition” she added.

Lucy Anning hates Ghana constitution

The first female Member of Parliament of Ghana, Lucy Anning, has stated that the 1992 Constitution is a curse on Ghana.

Lucy Anning said until it is abolished, the West African country will continue to retrogress.
Speaking on Accra based Kasapa FM Wednesday Mrs. Anning was emphatic that the “Indemnity Clauses” in the supreme document of Ghana were written in bad faith and that has led to lack of vision among Ghanaian leaders.

“We have been cursed by this 1992 Constitution. Dr. Nkrumah’s regime is even better than today. Ghana has not improved since Independence.

The member of the Council of Elders of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) however opined that the country is in turmoil due to visionless leadership.

According to her, it comes as a surprise for officials to watch as fifth engulf the entire nation coupled with the sprawling of shanty towns such as Sodom and Gomorrah.

Lucy Anning described the demolition exercise at the largest slum in Ghana as “financial loss” to the state.
