This program will feature our regular PANW reports with dispatches on events in the United States surrounding the Black Lives Matter Movement in Cleveland over the failure of a grand jury to indict two white police officers in the death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice and in Washington, D.C. where demonstrations were held in the nation's capital where the federal government has failed to take action aimed at halting racist state-sponsored violence against the African American people; in Haiti two Rwandan peacekeeping soldiers were found dead recently amid an announcement that the U.S.-backed president has set a date for the run-off elections inside this Caribbean island-nation; in the Central African state of Burundi violence has continued against the government of President Pierre Nkurunziza as the African Union is threatening to deploy a military force inside the agriculturally based landlocked state; and in the North African state of Algeria a co-founder of the national independence movement, the FLN, Hocinda Ait Ahmed has been buried in his hometown which was designated by the government as a state funeral despite Ait Ahmed's longtime exile from the country.
In the second hour we being our monthlong commemoration of the 87th birthday of the martyred civil rights and peace leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. looking at race relations during 1966 to the present.
Finally an interview on the relationship between cotton production and capitalism inside the U.S. is examined.
