Korean Stamp Exhibitions Open
Korean stamp exhibitions were opened at the Korean Stamps Museum and the Korean Stamp Exhibition House on September 5 to celebrate the 69th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
On display at their venues are photos dealing with stamps that carry portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Stamps of hundreds of kinds and bills, displayed under the titles "Power of Juche" and "Our Country
Is Prosperous Forever", represent the revolutionary careers and exploits of the peerlessly great men who founded the DPRK and led it only along the road of victory and demonstrated its dignity and might as the nuclear power of Juche and a world-level military power.
Some stamps deal with the reality of the DPRK which has turned into a socialist state centred on the popular masses and an invincible power.
The exhibitions will continue till September 15.
