Wreaths Laid at Martyrs Cemeteries in DPRK
Wreaths were laid at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong, the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri and the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery on September 9, the 69th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Seen there were wreaths from Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Attending the wreath-laying ceremonies were Kim Yong Nam, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior Party and state officials, the chairman of a friendly party, officials of Party, armed forces and power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries and national agencies, men and officers of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People’s Internal Security Forces, and Pyongyang citizens.

The participants laid bouquets before the bust of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and observed a moment's silence in memory of her.

Placed at the martyrs cemeteries in Mt Taesong and Sinmi-ri were wreaths in the joint name of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the DPRK State Affairs Commission and the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK and at the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery a wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

Wreaths were laid in the names of armed forces organs, working people's organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of KPA and KPISF, science, education, public health and media organs, and Party and power organs, enterprises and farms in Pyongyang.

The participants observed a moment's silence in memory of the martyrs.
