Many Feared Dead in Mubi Mosque Bombing

A suicide bomber has detonated a bomb in a Mosque in Mubi town, killing several worshipers.
Daily Trust learnt that the attacker suddenly bumped in to the mosque located in Anguwan Shuwa ward during early morning congregation on Tuesday.
A resident said he saw atleast twenty lifeless bodies lying on the ground in the immediate aftermath of the blast.
The Mubi North council chairman Musa Ahmad Bello said the number of casualty had not yet been ascertained as rescue workers were still removing bodies from the scene.
He said injured persons had been evacuated to the hospital.
Mubi is in Adamawa state, North-East Nigeria.
