Demonstrators Outside City Hall Cheer Van Dyke Verdict

(CHICAGO) When the verdict came in on cell phones outside City Hall, cheers went up from a few dozen demonstrators gathered outside the LaSalle St entrance.
Antonio Maggitt of Good Kids Mad City grabbed a bullhorn and said, “Van Dyke is not the only one! We comin’ for all of em! And the black aldermen that was paid-off by the mayor to stay silent, we comin’ for you, too!”
And so the demonstrators at City Hall were peaceful and were vowing to take the issue to the police reform movement and the city elections next year.
