Al-Shabab Militants Shoot Dead 6 Somalian Troops

(MENAFN) Al-Shabab terrorists took the lives of six troops from Somalia and caused the injury of another ten amid an ambush.
Somali officials confirmed on Sunday the incident to have too place Saturday evening north in Mogadishu.
The troops were ambushed by the terrorists in close proximity to Bal'ad town in Middle Shabelle region, where the two sides exchanged fire.
The news was announced by information minister for Hirshabelle State in Somalia, Abdiweli Mohamed Abdi.
The minister also revealed that gunshots also slapped the militants with heavy casualties.
Abdi added: "I had the report that over 10 al-Shabab fighters were killed during the fight with the military. The enemy ran away and the situation is calm now."
