Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel departs Belarus to participate in the 18th Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan

- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in the capital of Belarus, Tuesday afternoon, to conduct an official state visit here, as part of his European tour.

- He was greeted by Minister of Industry Pavel Utiopin, and later met with Deputy Foreign Minister Pavel Shestakov.

- The President and other members of the Cuban delegation visited the Great Rock Industrial Park, a development zone featuring primarily Chinese and Belarusian enterprises, including manufacturers of truck motors, electric bus components, and large construction cranes.

- The potential for Cuba’s biotechnology industry in the zone was discussed.

- The President and his delegation’s next stop is the 18th Non-Aligned Movement Summit in Baku, Azerbaijan.
