Widespread Property Damage at Bay Area Stores Taking Place

Looting and vandalism was reported at stores around the Bay Area on Saturday and Sunday, resulting in the imposition of curfews in several cities. To see details on the map, zoom to the area where you want to see more detail.

Crowds of looters were reported at Walnut Creek’s Broadway Plaza; San Francisco’s Union Square also saw multiple high-end stores targeted.

A tweet reportedly urged looters to target Santana Row and Valley Fair in San Jose/Santa Clara, but police shut down those areas. The closest looting was at a CVS and a BevMo at Winchester and Stevens Creek boulevards.

Emeryville: Best Bay, Powell Street Center

Oakland: Fruitvale Station (GameStop, AT&T, K&G Fashion), Walgreens near Lake Merritt

Pleasant Hill: Crossroads

Hayward: CVS

San Leandro: Walmart, Bay Fair Mall, Marina Square

Union City: Union Landing

Milpitas: Neiman-Marcus (Great Mall)
