Nearly 7.5 Million Confirmed Cases of Covid-19 Across Africa

As of August 22, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 7,481,530 while over 59,172,030 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached 188,517 and 6,605,601 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,680,225 and 79,251 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (806,288), Tunisia (638,072), Ethiopia (295,019), Libya (293,532) Egypt (286,168) and Kenya (228,363).
