Axios: Marine 3-star General Advising 'Israel' on Gaza Invasion

Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CBS on Sunday, revealed that the administration is communicating with the occupation forces regarding their military goals.

US and Israeli sources told Axios that the Biden administration recently dispatched a Marine three-star general and several other US military commanders to the Israeli occupation to help the military's leadership in its continued aggression on Gaza.

According to a top Israeli source, Lt. Gen. James Glynn is among the Marine Corps officers assigned.

Glynn and the other US military personnel do not direct operations, but they will advise the occupation forces on its anticipated ground invasion in Gaza. 

The general is not expected to remain in the occupied territories after the attack, according to sources close to the situation.

A Pentagon spokesperson told Axios "We have asked several officials with relevant experience, simply to help Israeli officials think through the difficult questions ahead and explore their options," adding that the occupation forces will make their own decisions.

According to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, while speaking to CBS on Sunday, he revealed that the administration is communicating with the occupation forces regarding their military goals.

Blinken claimed the US was concerned about "making sure that civilians are as protected as they possibly can be."

"Israel" has reiterated that its goal is to destroy Hamas, repeatedly targetting civilians and humanitarian workers since its assault on Gaza began under the guise of "Self-defense."

The occupation is yet to announce its ground invasion, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed the war would be "long and difficult."
