Former national police commissioner Jackie Selebi has lodged an application to appeal his 15-year jail sentence for corruption, the National Prosecuting Authority said on Tuesday.
"Yes, he has filed," said Mhaga.
Selebi was sentenced two weeks ago after High Court in Johannesburg judge Meyer Joffe found him guilty of accepting money from drug trafficker Glenn Agliotti. - Sapa
