China's experience of development should be followed: Sudan's ruling party official

KHARTOUM, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Ibrahim Ghandour, an official in charge of external relations of Sudan's ruling National Congress Party (NCP) said Wednesday that the Chinese model in economy, politics and sustainable development should be followed by the third world countries.
"China has achieved great successes in all fields, top of them is the economy," said Ghandour in an exclusive interview with Xinhua on Wednesday.
He praised China's experience in the field of rural development, saying "Our friends in China focus on the balanced development and on upgrading the level of living conditions at the rural areas to equal that of the urban areas."
He added the third world countries which have resources need to learn from the Chinese experience.
"We hope further progress and development for China under the new leadership," Ghandour said.
Meanwhile, Ghandour reiterated the keenness of Sudan's ruling party to enhance its relations with the Communist Party of China in all fields.
He stressed that the past few years witnessed great development in the bilateral ties, saying "China is playing a great role in Africa. It has established strong and active partnerships without interference in the internal affairs of the continent."
