Human Trafficking and the Human Rights Agenda Against Eritrea

From Simon Tesfamariam

Dear Mr. Azikiwe,

I really admire your website, Pan-African News Wire. I would like to inform you that I recently wrote a piece on Eritrea entitled, "Human Trafficking and the Human Rights Agenda Against Eritrea." I wrote it to provide a little clarity on the current situation in the Sinai regarding African migrants, most of which are supposedly of Eritrean origin.

The piece attempts to show how there has been a concerted and systematic effort to drive Eritrean youth out of Eritrea, politicize their migration, and use that migration (deemed human trafficking) as a pretext to take action against the young African nation.

I hope that it may provide you and others with additional clarity on one of the most misunderstood nations in Africa.

Please feel free republish, re-post, and distribute if you wish. The piece can be found pasted below, attached as a PDF, and on my blog at the following link:

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Simon
