Lebanon Calls for Halting Suspension of Syria's Membership at the AL
Mar 07, 2013
CAIRO, (SANA)- Lebanese Foreign and Expatriates Minister Adnan Mansour called for halting the suspension of Syria's membership at the Arab League (AL).
In a speech delivered at the meeting of the AL Council on the Ministerial level in Cairo on Wednesday, Mansour said "the AL failed to find a political solution to the crisis in Syria through national dialogue, and only succeeded in suspending its membership."
Minister Mansour added that the flow of weapons and money to Syria continued without limits, asserting that the flow of the armed terrorist groups to Syria from abroad is no longer hidden.
He called for exerting more efforts for finding a political solution to the crisis in Syria to end the violence which has spread in the country.
He also called to reinstate Syria to the Arab League and to stop the suspension of its membership at the league as "communication with Syria is essential for a political solution".
