President Chavez was a champion of 21st Century Socialism and anti-imperialism. His efforts through the renewed Bolivarian Revolution changed the course of history in Latin America and throughout the world.
The broadcast features news reports on his untimely death and various speeches delivered by Comandante Chavez at Oxford University and the United Nations General Assembly from 2006 and 2009.
Also an article written by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire, on the recently-held Third Africa-South American Summit in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea was reviewed in the broadcast. Comandante Chavez had written an open letter to the summit where he called for South-South unity against the growing imperialist intervention throughout the world.
