Sudan Complains to African Leaders against Uganda
Staff Writer
Sudan has continued to lodge complaints to the African leaders about Uganda’s role in destabilizing the country through President’s Museveni’s full support to Sudanese opposition and armed groups.
The latest of which was encouraging political forces to sign a document calling for the government's overthrow.
Sudanese Presidential Adviser Dr Nafie Ali Nafie currently touring the continent complained to the presidents of South Africa and Tanzania about Uganda’s role in destabilizing Sudan by supporting the opposition.
Nafie submitted a hand-written letter for President Al-Bashir to his Tanzanian counterpart Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete last Thursday regarding recently signed agreements with South Sudan in Addis Ababa and the latter’s obstructions to implementing them.
President Al-Bashir also sent a similar to South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma, requesting him to participate in Darfur donors’ conference in Qatari capital Doha next April.
