Iran ready to expand cooperation with Burundi: Salehi

Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has expressed Iran’s readiness to enhance cooperation with Burundi in different sectors.
At a Saturday meeting with Burundian Foreign Minister Laurent Kavakure in the Iranian capital, Tehran, Salehi said Iran is ready to cooperate with the East African country in different areas, including health, agriculture, commerce and economy.
Salehi pointed to the ample potentials of the African countries, particularly Burundi, and noted that the private sectors of the two countries can utilize the existing capacities offered by Iran’s lucrative market.
Kavakure, for his part, praised Iran’s history and civilization as well as the country’s capabilities and achievements.
The Burundian foreign minister also expressed his country’s keenness to use Iran’s expertise in different sectors, including health, medicine and commerce.
