Defense Minister: Syria will remain impervious to all conspiracies

Damascus, (SANA) _ The victory of the Syrian people is now a fact that is acknowledged by enemies and friends alike, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces and Minister of Defense, Gen. Fahd Jassem al-Freij said.
Al-Freij was speaking during a field visit to one of the military formations to inspect the soldiers' situation and circumstances, wishing them a happy Eid Al Adha.
The defense minister conveyed the pride of President Bashar al-Assad in the heroic deeds of the soldiers in the war against the vicious conspiracy.
''We are determined to vanquish the tools of the conspiracy thanks to the resolve and bravery of our soldiers,'' he added, indicated that the martyrs' sacrifices have laid the path for the resounding victory which is close at hand.
Chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces, Gen. Ali Abdullah Ayoub said the heroics of the Syrian army will make the victory.
Gen. Ayoub was speaking during a visit to the injured army personnel at Martyr Youssef al-Azmah hospital in Damascus on the occasion on Eid Al Adha, wishing them a speedy recovery.
For their part, the injured personnel expressed readiness to offer all it takes to preserve the dignity of the homeland.
Military commanders visit martyrs' tombs and injured army personnel on Eid Al Adha
Military commanders on Tuesday paid visits to the martyrs' tombs and laid wreathes of flowers on behalf of President Bashar al-Assad on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
The commanders also visited the injured soldiers at the military hospitals and offered them symbolic gifts, wishing them a quick recovery.
