WFYS Final Declaration Denounces U.S. War Moves against DPRK
Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- A final declaration was read out at the closing ceremony of the 18th World Festival of Youth and Students held in Ecuador.
The declaration resolutely denounced the U.S. imperialists for their moves for aggression and war against the DPRK and called upon the world youth and students to get firmly united to win a final victory in the anti-imperialist struggle.
It underscored the need to further expand and develop the festival movement, the international assembly of the world progressive youth and students.
The closing ceremony was followed by an art performance given by the DPRK delegation and Ecuadorian artistes.
The DPRK delegation of youth and students led by Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, came back home on Thursday after participating in the festival.
