During this broadcast we will feature our regular PANW reports with dispatches on the looming boycott by African American actors over the blatant racism exercised by the Academy of Motion Pictures Awards in their nominations for recognition this year; teachers in Detroit have won another victory when a judge denied a temporary restraining order seeking to halt a series of wildcat strikes protesting the deplorable conditions in existence within the system which is under emergency management by the right-wing Gov. Rick Snyder; the people of Flint have highlighted the complete political bankruptcy of the emergency management program of governing so prevalent in regard to the majority African American populated cities in the state; the government of Tunisia has imposed a curfew after concerns have developed of possible unrest in the North African state; and the Pentagon is threatening a renewed military intervention into Libya under the guise of fighting the Islamic State.

In the second our we present a program aired on Jan. 19 over PRN.fm featuring Abayomi Azikiwe discussing the social dynamics surrounding the conditions of African Americans and working people in both Detrot and Flint.

In the final hour we continue our monthlong focus on the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. through his work in1967 on eliminating poverty in America as well as other issues.
