In the second hour we conclude our monthlong commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Black Power Movement looking at its antecedents through Malcolm X through Stokely Carmichael.

The conclusion of the episode begins a discussion of the continuation of the Black Power Movement and the urban rebellions into Detroit which held the largest uprising the following summer in July 1967..
