CHANTILLY, Va., Oct. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Engility Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: EGL) won a $12.2 million task order in the third quarter of the year on the Department of State's Africa Peacekeeping Program indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity vehicle, known as AFRICAP III. The company will provide a host of logistics training services in the Central African Republic.

The AFRICAP III vehicle has a ceiling of $1.5 billion; Engility won a prime position on this contract last year. The Department of State's Bureau of African Affairs is focused on strengthening democratic institutions, supporting economic growth and development, advancing peace and security, and promoting opportunity and development in Africa. Engility will also deliver training and mentoring in operations and maintenance tasks; quartermaster training; and other technical training and support services.
