(ANSAmed) - TUNIS, JUNE 3 - Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi has extended the national state of emergency by one month, starting June 5, said the president's office in a statement.

Essebsi made the decision following a consultation with Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed and Parliament Speaker Mohamed Ennaceur.
