Alexandra Valiente Recognizes Work of Pan-African News Wire Editor
Editor’s Note From Alexandra Valiente Written on Dec. 20, 2011:
As 2011 draws to a close, I want to pay tribute to authors who have been unwavering in their support for Libya and who have produced material that explores both overt events and the deeper political agenda behind not only the war on Libya, but all of Africa and the Middle East. My personal favorites are the journalist’s who excerted tremendous effort in attempting to raise public awareness to stop the war, whose work persisted during NATO bombardments exposing the worst atrocities, and who continue to publish information on ongoing developments in Libya as events escalate, embroiling more of the African continent and the Middle East in foreign orchestrated conflict.
Abayomi Azikiwe’s description of his service is humble, but the quality and scope of his contributions deserve high praise. It has been an honor to feature the articles and interviews from this steadfast voice for truth.
You can access all of his work published on Libya 360° through this link, but please visit Pan-African News Wire. Abayomi Azikiwe states it is “the world’s only international daily Pan-African News source.” I would add that it is the only source of its kind that has remained staunchly anti-imperialist and true to the revolutionary spirit in both Africa and the world.
