SOMALIA: Puntland armed forces fight Al-Shabab militants in Gal-gala mountains.

Fighting broke this morning in Gal-gala mountains, an area not so far from Puntland’s port city of Bossasso, between Puntland armed forces and Al-Shabab militants in Gal-gala.
It was early morning when as reported to Raxanreeb online Al-shabab fighters in Gal-gala mountains attacked Puntland security forces in Gal-gala from three sides following an exchange of heavy gunfire any other heavy weapons
This fight caused death and injury casualties though its not yet clear the exact number of these casualties.
Bossasso central hospital worker who veiled his identity told Raxanreeb Online that the hospital has received three injuries of Puntland forces personnel and are now under going treatments.
Puntland forces have taken control of Gal-gala mountains couple of days back when they attacked Al-shabab militants stations in Gal-gala after getting a tip-off and cleared them from those stations that Al-shabab fighters settled in Gal-gala mountains .
The new administration of Puntland led by president Abdiwali Gaas vowed to weep out Al-shabab fighters hiding in Gal-gala mountains.
