This broadcast is designed to provide a revolutionary perspective on the news and affairs of African people on the continent and throughout the Diaspora as well as the international community in general. The Pan-African Journal is an audio news magazine that is brought to you on a weekly basis.

Included in the Pan-African Journal broadcasts are reports from the Pan-African News Wire, an electronic press service founded in Jan. 1998. The PANW has been read by millions and its articles are reprinted in a host of other publications, journals, research reports and websites throughout the world.

Over the last three-and-a-half years the Pan-African Journal has been re-activated by Abayomi Azikiwe, the editor and founder of the PANW. The program was created in early 1999 and broadcast over a small radio station in Detroit.

After two years, Azikiwe was drawn into broadcasting on four other radio stations in collaborative efforts for an entire decade. A PANW segment was featured for three-and-a-half years on a former educational radio station in Detroit.

With the accessibility of internet radio the boundaries of audio programming have been widely expanded. The reach of the program is global in every sense of the term.

These developments have resulted in the formation of the Pan-African Radio Network. This medium can be accessed at blogtalkradio.com/panafricanjournal .
