GBM Dares Govt Over Alleged Forged School Qualification

Vice President for Administration Geoffrey Mwamba says he does not have any academic qualification from Zimbabwe.
Reacting to reports that the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council has written to the Examinations Council of Zambia to report him to law enforcement agencies for suspected forgery, Mr Mwamba says the advanced Diploma he presented during the filing of nomination papers is not from Zimbabwe, but from the United Kingdom.
Mwamba has since dismissed as mere propaganda assertions that he has forged academic qualifications, daring the government to arrest him if he presented forged a certificate during the filing of nominations.
Mwamba adds that Electoral Commission of Zambia Chairperson Justice Esau Chulu should resign if he authenticated his forged qualifications during the filing of nominations.
And Mwamba has called on the Electoral Commission of Zambia to publish academic qualifications of all candidates presented to the Commission during the filing of nominations.
He says the UPND is equally suspicions of some academic qualifications presented to the Commission.
And UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema says debate on Mwamba’s qualifications is simply malicious.
He says Mwamba’s qualifications were authenticated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority which is a government body. Hichilema adds that he is proud of Mwamba as his running mate.
