SACP Congratulates the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people as a Whole on the 70th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China

The South African Communist Party (SACP) salutes the Communist Party of China (CPC) for its resolute and advanced leadership, and congratulates both the CPC and the Chinese people as a whole, on the milestone of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The CPC, leading the Chinese society, established the People’s Republic of China on 1 October 1949.
Through its leadership, the CPC has since advanced the Chinese society to a position of the world’s second largest national economy. Under the leadership of the CPC, China has also established a leading role in key technological capabilities, notably 5G technology. The CPC is firmly leading China in systematically eliminating poverty, with the target of achieving poverty eradication by the time the Party reaches its centenary in 2021.
“The SACP will continue to work together with the CPC in strengthening our international relations, co-operation and solidarity, based on mutual Party-to-Party and national interests, and guided by the goals of world peace, collective human development and universal emancipation”, said SACP General Secretary Dr Blade Nzimande.
