This edition of the Pan-African Journal was broadcast live from John
Jay College of Criminal Justice of the City University of New York
(CUNY) during the Left Forum on Sunday morning June 1.

The Left Forum is one of the largest annual gatherings of progressive,
radical and socialist forces where panels and plenary sessions on a
myriad of issues are held. This year represented the tenth of such
gatherings which was formerly known as the Socialist Scholars
Conference.

Our broadcast features the International Action Center (IAC) panel
entitled "The 'New Cold War': What's Driving It and Will It Escalate."
The discussion was chaired by Bill Doares of the IAC in New York City.

Panelists were Meejin Richard and Seyeon Lee of Nodutdol for Korean
Community Development, Berta Joubert-Ceci of the Women's Fightback
Network in Philadelphia, Jess Sundin of Freedom Road Socialist
Organization (FRSO) and Pan-African Journal host as well as editor of
the Pan-African News Wire, Abayomi Azikwe.

The panel was well attended and was one of three presentations
delivered by host Abayomi Azikiwe at the Left Forum which lasted from
May 30-June 1.
