This program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the continuing fallout around the Brexit vote this time on the Labor Party where members are calling for the ouster of Jeremy Corbyn; in Somalia there has been an attack at a hotel in the capital of Mogadishu in the Horn of Africa state; the North African state of Libya is still the scene of deadly violence in the eastern city of Benghazi the birthplace of the counter-revolution of 2011.

In the second hour we conclude our monthlong commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Black Power Movement looking at its antecedents through Malcolm X through Stokely Carmichael.

The conclusion of the episode begins a discussion of the continuation of the Black Power Movement and the urban rebellions into Detroit which held the largest uprising the following summer in July 1967..
