Angola: Defence Minister Addresses Condolences to President

Luanda — The Angolan Defense Minister, João Lourenço, today addressed a message of condolences to the President of the Republic, José Eduardo dos Santos, on Wednesday for the physical passing away of Avelino Eduardo dos Santos, brother of the Angolan Head of State.
Avelino Eduardo dos Santos died Tuesday, due to illness in South Africa.
In the note, signed by the Minister of Defense, he adds that in this hour of pain and mourning, in the name of the Ministry of Defense and on his own, he bows before the memory of the deceased and presents to His Excellency, Comrade President and the Bereaved family, the expression of the most heartfelt condolences, by the unfortunate event, and that his soul rest in peace.
