National Meeting Highlights 5th Anniversary of Kim Jong Un's Assumption of Top Party

A national meeting took place at the People's Palace of Culture on April 11 to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's assumption of the top posts of the Party and the state.
Present there were Kim Yong Nam, Hwang Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior Party, state and army officials, members of the Party central leadership organ in Pyongyang, deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly, officials of Party, armed forces and power organs, social organizations, ministries and national agencies, men and officers of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials of institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang and persons of distinguished services.
Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee, made a report.
The reporter said that having Kim Jong Un at the top posts of the Party and the state as unanimously desired by the whole Party and army and all the people was a historic event to be specially recorded in history as it ushered in an era of fresh victory and prosperity for the Party, the revolution, the country and its people.
Kim Jong Un has led the Party and the state along the road of steady victories with his outstanding ideology and leadership, thus ushering in a great heyday in accomplishing the socialist cause, the reporter said, and went on:
He perfectly settled the important issues arising in the times and the revolutionary practice, thereby giving a steady continuity to the lifeline of the Korean revolution started in Mt Paektu and steering the advance in the new century of Juche with great victory.
He has directed primary efforts to the work of holding President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in the highest esteem as the eternal leaders of the Party and the revolution and the sun of Juche, thus making sure that history of the sun is given a steady continuity generation after generation.
