Al Mayadeen Guest Jamal Huwail Receives IOF Threat While Live on Air

By Al Mayadeen English

Jamal Huwail, a member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council in Jenin, receives a threat from Israeli intelligence while speaking on air with Al Mayadeen.

Israeli occupation forces have surrounded the home of Fatah Revolutionary Council member, Jamal Huwail, in Jenin, after he appeared as a guest on Al Mayadeen.

Huwail was forced to withdraw from a live episode with Al Mayadeen after he received a threatening call from Israeli intelligence while on air.

"I have to move elsewhere, because a threat has been issued to a number of leaders in Fatah. I have just been personally threatened by Israeli intelligence through a phone call, and was threatened with arrest," Huwail said, before apologizing to the host.

This comes amid reports of Israeli occupation forces storming Jenin and confrontations with Palestinian Resistance fighters attempting to stop the Israeli raid on their city.

IOF raid house of Al Mayadeen's bureau chief in occupied Palestine

The director of Al Mayadeen's bureau in occupied Palestine, Nasser al-Laham, confirmed that Israeli occupation forces assaulted his wife and children after storming his house in Beit Lahm, in the southern occupied West Bank, on Tuesday morning.

The occupation arrested al-Laham's two sons, Bassel and Bassil, later releasing Bassil and insisting on seizing Bassel's phone.

Al-Laham emphasized that his children are experiencing what all the Palestinian youths in the West Bank are experiencing, noting that he felt hesitant to discuss what happened with his family considering the mass suffering of fellow Palestinians in Gaza.

He continued, "When one sees homes being demolished and innocent lives lost in Gaza, it would be extremely hard to compare the suffering of Gazans to mere arrests and physical assaults."
