A-APRP (GC): Call for Action Against the Bombing of Libya!

A-APRP (GC) Call for Action Against the Bombing of Libya!

Call for Action against the Bombing of Libya!

Sunday, March 20, 2011

The illegal, racist, sexist, capitalist, and terrorist governments of the United States, Germany, Britain, Canada, France, Italy and occupied Palestine (so-called Israel), in conspiracy with and the approval of the United Nations Security Counsel, the Arab League and the G8 countries have diminished Africa’s Personality and Dignity once again, by having imposed a “no-fly zone” on Libya and are bombing and planning to invade, to further entrench neo-colonialism and neo-liberalism in Africa by continuing to arm the mercenary class of African neo-colonial puppets, as they have done repeatedly over the past two millennium. Muammar Quadaffi’s compound in Tripoli was one of the bombing targets, a cold-blooded effort to intimidate or murder him and his family.

The United States, Germany, Britain, Canada, France, Italy and occupied Palestine (so-called Israel), to paraphrase Dr. Martin Luther King’s April 1967 speech against the US war in Vietnam, are the “greatest purveyors of violence the world has ever seen.” From the “Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli,” Europe’s and America’s historical and continuing crimes against Indigenous, African and World Humanity festers with impunity and are repugnant with their arrogant refusal of reparations.

The All-African Peoples’ Revolutionary Party (GC) declares its uncompromising and un-categorical opposition to any and all United States, (USAfricom, USAID, National Endowment for Democracy, CIA, etc.), British, French, German, Italian, Israeli, or UN interference or military intervention in African (including Libyan), Middle Eastern and Central and South American and Caribbean affairs and territory.

The A-APRP (GC) also declares its uncompromising and un-categorical opposition to the following and similar groups:

Libyan Republic Interim Transitional National Council
Libyan People's Army
Free Libyan Air Force
Libyan Youth Movement
Committee for Libyan National Action in Europe
National Conference for the Libyan Opposition (Libyan Constitutional Union; National Front for the Salvation of Libya; Libyan League for Human Rights and Libyan Tmazight Congress)
Libya Watanona
Libya Islamic Group (Muslim Brotherhood)
Libya Islamic Fighting Group (al-Qaeda)

The A-APRP (GC), representing the noble and just African people’s history of resistance, rebellion, and Revolution, promise Obama and Clinton, and their puppet governments world-wide, as Kwame Ture promised Reagan and Cheney in April 1986, when they bombed Libya on behalf of the Bechtel Corporation and Occidental Petroleum, that if you bomb or invade any country in Africa (including Libya), you will be challenged in every corner of the United States, the African Diaspora, Africa and the World. Wabunni “Vernon” Bellecourt and Kwame Ture led a delegation of members, mostly women, of the American Indian Movement and All-African People’s Revolutionary Party to Libya in defiance of Reagan’s travel ban. AIM and the A-APRP also organized a demonstration at the White House, with a simultaneous demonstration in Green Square in Tripoli, to protest the bombing.

Wabunini and Bob Brown, who is currently an organizer for the A-APRP (GC), were imprisoned for 90-days (1988) for their refusal to testify before a Grand Jury that was investigating the Libyan Student Movement and Solidarity Movement in the United States. Our struggle against the United States policies and actions in Africa (including Libya) and throughout the world, continues and intensifies today!

The A-APRP (GC) calls on all peace-loving, spiritual and religious, progressive and revolutionary peoples and forces in every corner of the world, regardless of your position for or against Muammar Quadaffi and his regime, to join the A-APRP (GC) in building a worldwide, militant, grassroots, mass and independent movement against this onslaught of imperialist, zionist, racist and sexist wars, and this latest affront to Africa’s and the African Diaspora’s and the World’s dignity, integrity and humanity.

The All-African Peoples’ Revolutionary Party (GC) is the inheritor and continuator of the revolutionary theory and practice of Kwame Nkrumah, Sekou Toure and Kwame Ture (also known as Stokely Carmichael). They and organizers for the A-APRP (GC) fought against British, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, colonialism and neo-colonialism in the African Diaspora and Africa; and we continue that fight today, by whatever means at our disposal.

Kwame Nkrumah, Sekou Toure and Kwame Ture and organizers for the A-APRP (GC) support for and solidarity with revolutionary struggles in Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Azania/South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau and other Revolutions in Africa and throughout the Caribbean, Central, North, and South America is well known. This is also true for the principled revolutionary struggle to defeat zionism and the illegal, immoral, racist settler-state of Israel; and with a clear, unqualified and unyielding position, stood and continues to stand in support of and solidarity with the Palestinian, Iraqi, Syrian, Iranian and other Revolutions in the Middle East.

The contributions of organizers for the A-APRP (GC) to the struggle for human and civil rights, for national liberation and Black Power, for Pan-Africanism, socialism and peace from formerly colonized Vietnam to occupied USA, Ireland, Palestine and Azania/South Africa cannot be denied. We have been consistent historically and at present consistent with unconditional and uncompromising solidarity with the Indigenous Peoples of the Western Hemisphere.

The A-APRP (GC)’s commitment to the revolutionary principles that animated this support and solidarity continues, grows and qualifies. Consistent with these principles, we issue a call to all peace-loving, spiritual and religious, progressive and revolutionary forces in the world to:

Endorse the Statements that have been made by former President Fidel Castro of Cuba and President Hugo Chavez of Bolivia regarding the current political situation in Libya.

Support the Venezuelan government’s proposal (Spanish – English), which the government of Libya has accepted, to work for a negotiated end to the conflict through an independent, international commission.

Convene immediately a series of meetings (world-wide, national, regional and local ) to build a revolutionary, militant, mass, independent movement to confront this new imperialist, racist and sexist offensive in Africa, the African Diaspora and the world; and for those organizations that support our call to action, and/or want to help convene local, regional, and national meetings email your endorsement and contact information.

Organize and prepare to return to the streets, and to demonstrate on/in and “occupy” every campus and every city in the United States, Germany, Britain, Canada, France, Italy and occupied Palestine (so-called Israel) and all countries in the world who participate in this affront to and crime against Africa, the African Diaspora, and World Humanity, until any and all of their regimes are changed.

Demonstrations against the bombing of Libya were held in the following US cities: Albuquerque, New Mexico; Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Dallas and Houston, Texas; Biloxi, Mississippi; Boston, Massachusetts; Chicago, Illinois; Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Dayton, Ohio; Daytona Beach, North Miami and Orlando, Florida; Dubuque and Iowa City, Iowa; Eugene and Portland, Oregon; Evergreen, Colorado; Fort Bragg, Fresno, Laguna Hills, Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz, California; Highland Park, New Jersey; Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; Kansas City, Missouri; Keene, New Hampshire; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; New Haven, Connecticut; Phoenix, Arizona; Racine, Wisconsin; Salt Lake City, Utah; Seattle, Washington; St. Paul, Minnesota and and Washington, DC.

On Saturday, March 19, 2011, Veterans for Peace led 1,500 people in a rally and then a march on the White House. Organizers report 113 were arrested in an action of nonviolent public civil resistance. To learn more about this spirited event and the exact charges filed, go to: http://warisacrime.org/

Demonstrations were also held in Bamako, Mali (see photo below); Barcelona, Spain; Belgrade, Serbia and London, England. Additional actions are being planned in a host of other cities and countries worldwide.

No one can deny the role that Kwame Ture, the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee, the Black Panther Party, and organizers for the A-APRP (GC) played in the struggle for the right to vote in the United States, and other countries in the world; to the struggle to build independent, mass, progressive and revolutionary political parties and elect progressive and independent candidates.

The A-ARPP (GC) says to the world, openly and defiantly, to paraphrase Kwame Ture’s statement in 1967, that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are not “Black Power,” not “women’s power.” We say to them as we said to Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon, “Hell No, We Do Not Support Your War against Africa (against Libya)!”

Consistent with our history of Resistance, Rebellion, Revolt and Revolution, the slogans of this mass, militant and worldwide movement must ring and be shouted loud and clear:

Hell No, We Won’t Bomb, Invade, Colonize or Re-Enslave Africa (that includes Libya), the Middle East, the Americas or the Caribbean!
Hell No, We Will Not Kill Babies, Children and Women for a Gallon Of Gas!
Imperialism Will Find Its Grave In Africa!
Africa Must Unite From Capetown To Tripoli!!!!!

The A-APRP (GC) has earned the right and is obligated to make this Call. Organizations and individuals who agree with this Call, and want to help build this mass movement and related mass actions on every campus, and in every city and country in the African Diaspora, Africa and the World can contact us at Email: info@a-aprp-gc.org – Website: www.a-aprp-gc.org - Voice Mail: (202) 719-0529
