HUGO CHAVEZ INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR PEACE, FRIENDSHIP AND SOLIDARITY HCI-FPFS

Press Statement
28 April, 2011.

Subject: SUPPORT FOR THE PROPOSED RALLY IN BENGHAZI AGAINST TERRORIST AL-QAIDA/NATO TERRORISM.

On Friday 29 April, 2011 the peace-loving people of Benghazi in Eastern Libya will embark upon a peaceful march to protest against terrorist Al-Qaida/NATO criminality aggression and genocide campaign on the African soil.

The proposed protest march is organized mostly by women who complained about horrible human rights abuses being committed by terrorist Al-Qaida/NATO forces against the people of Benghazi.

Reports have been pouring in about a large-scale campaign of murder, extra-judicial execution of African immigrants, merciless raping of young girls and elderly women, arson, forceful conscription of young boys, drugging of youths and looting of property carried out in Benghazi and other areas of Libya brutally occupied by terrorist Al-Qaida/NATO forces.

According to these reports, murderous terrorists supported by the US, Britain, France, Italy, NATO, Kuwait and Qatar have continued to rein terror on the people of Benghazi, with the tacit backing of the corrupt international media.

According to reports, over 7000 young boys and youths have been conscripted into the terrorist group and drugged and given guns to kill and destroy; many private homes have been gutted away and women are being raped and murdered by mutilating them with knifes and sharp weapons.

After their houses being burnt, the residents are living in the open, taken shelter in the open sand of the desert. They have nothing to eat, all their belongings having been burnt down by the terrorist Al-Qaida/NATO forces of genocide.

This gruesome onslaught on the people of Benghazi by Al-Qaida/NATO forces, carefully hidden from the outside world, call for a strong protest from all the civilised and progressive world to compel the US, Britain, France, Italy, NATO, Kuwait, Qatar, United Nations and Arab League to put an immediate stop to this extermination campaign.

The perpetrators of this crime must be brought to book so that truth and justice does not become the casualty in NATO’s criminal war against the people of Libya and Africa.

The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for Peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) supports and will continue to support the rights of the people of Libya to be left alone to decide their own future without meddling from outside.

We will extend full support to the proposed peace rally, by the people of Benghazi on Friday, 29 April.

The proposed protest march is intended to draw the attention of the public to the nightmares, brutal human rights abuses and agonies inflicted on the Libyan people, by Al-Qaida/NATO axis of evil.

It is also intended to send a strong signal of condemnation of the US, Britain, France, Italy, NATO, Kuwait and Qatari support for terrorist Al-Qaida genocide against Libya.

It is intended to resist United Nations cruel injustice meted against women in Libya and throughout Africa.

Support Peace in Libya!
Say no to Al-Qaida/NATO Terrorism!
