Alert: Stop the execution of Troy Davis!
Published Sep 7, 2011 9:28 PM
Georgia is moving to execute Troy Davis, an African American from Savannah, Ga., whose case has brought worldwide attention to the discriminatory legal system in the U.S.
Convicted solely on the basis of eyewitness testimony which has been largely recanted, Davis is scheduled for execution on Sept. 21.
Activists around the world are taking steps to prevent this racist injustice. To sign the petition issued by the International Action Center, go to iacenter.org/troydavis.
