Chairman Kim Jong Il Remembered
All the people and service personnel of the DPRK honoured the memory of Chairman Kim Jong Il with the most humble reverence on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of his demise.

On the greatest national memorial day, they visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche, to pay tribute to the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Working people, service personnel, youth and students across the country paid tribute to the statues and smiling portraits of the great leaders in their residential areas.

The National Symphony Orchestra gave a concert to remember Kim Jong Il at Moranbong Theatre in Pyongyang.

The performers impressively depicted with solemn sound and emotional melody the profound respect for Kim Jong Il who had performed great feats in the history of building a thriving country and opened a bright future of Juche Korea with sacrificing devotion while making ceaseless high-intensity forced march.

Similar concerts were given in North Phyongan, North Hwanghae, North Hamgyong, Kangwon, Ryanggang and other provinces and a remembrance gathering "Song of Great Love" took place in South Hwanghae Province.

Artistes of Jagang, South Phyongan and South Hamgyong provincial art troupes highly sang in praise of the loving care shown by Kim Jong Il for the people.
