Party and Government Officials Visit Fatherland Liberation War Historic Site
Senior officials of the Party and the government visited the Fatherland Liberation War Historic Site on July 27, the 66th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
Among them were Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central Committee; Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, member of the SAC of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet; leading officials of the Party and the government; the chairperson of a friendly party; and officials of ministries and national agencies
Being told that President Kim Il Sung located the Supreme Headquarters there from January Juche 40 (1951) to July Juche 42 (1953) and led the war to victory by defeating the imperialist aggressor forces to defend the destiny of the country and the nation, the visitors went round the site.
